The Byrd was born from a surf-skate mindset: laid-back, deliberate, unbothered. It’s about flow, because when you’re in a rhythm, golf stops feeling like a grind and starts feeling more like a glide.

We design gear that clears the noise so you can actually be where you are, in nature and often with friends. Rooted in coastal calm and a touch of rebellion, The Byrd blends style with simplicity. Function with freedom. Serious design for people who don’t take themselves too seriously.

We’re well-aware of our truth, that we’re not saving lives here. But we are saving golf rounds - from clutter, chaos, and the kind of pocket rummaging that derails focus and dignity in equal measure.

Why The Byrd Golf?

The golf bug hit us hard during Covid when there was nothing safe to do indoors so we dusted off our clubs, went outside and became addicts. If you know me, then you know that I'm a rather fastidious fella believing that everything has it's place in this world. And it's no secret that golfers have a crap-ton of equipment that can be difficult to manage. It drove me nuts having to dig through my pockets or go back to my bag every single hole, multiple times to find tees, divot tools, and ball markers so I decided to do something about it and invented a line of golf accessories that keep your essential gear in place and within reach at all times, helping you to focus and be present on the course.

We weren’t founded in a boardroom. We were founded in a garage by a golfer with OCD-level frustration, a heap of tees in every pocket, and a dusty Singer sewing machine inherited from Grandma. True story. One bad round, one Google search, and hundreds of prototypes later - The Byrd was hatched.

You don't see tour pros fumbling through their pockets every hole looking for tees, ball markers, divot tools - they have caddies for that. But most of us can't afford our own tour pro caddie so we invented a distant second.
