My Promise To Every Customer
Thank you for shopping with The Byrd Golf. Honestly. There are about 14 billion things competing for your attention these days online, so the fact that you landed here and took interest in my weird little golf organizational systems means a lot to me.
I started The Byrd because I was tired of digging through my pockets like a raccoon rummaging through a dumpster. Tees disappear. Ball markers vanish. Divot tools laugh at you as they burrow deeper and deeper into the gallows of your bag.
So I built products that help reduce the clutter and let you focus on your game instead of your gear.
As a small business owner, I take this stuff personally. I’m not some giant corporation with a boardroom and twelve assistant vice presidents of “glue sniffing.” It’s me, doing my best to make products people genuinely enjoy using. That starts with a few simple things:
- Free gear with every order
- Fast, same-day shipping
- Money-back guarantee
- Giving back to people who deserve it
I love getting unexpected stuff when I order something, so I try to “Surprise & Delight” my customers with every order. On top of that, every Byrd Belt comes with free tees, a ball marker, and a divot tool and the Clyps come with tees and a marker as well, because making you buy that separately feels mildly insulting.
Getting your order right matters to me. Shipping fast matters to me. Treating people fairly matters to me. I’m a customer too, so I try to handle things the way I’d want someone to handle them for me. If something goes wrong, I’ll do my best to make it right, even when it costs me money. That’s just how I roll.
Giving back matters too. The Byrd offers a 15% lifetime discount to military, veterans, and first responders. I also support charities that help children as well as people living with Parkinson’s Disease, which is a cause that’s deeply personal to me.
So thank you again for trusting me, supporting a small business, and believing in what I’m building. Starting a company in middle age was not exactly the safe or rational career move. But here we are.
Hit ‘em straight,
Kris
